LLSDC ListservsListservsILL ([email protected]) - should be used only for ILL or document requests. Members must opt-in to being on this e-list. General LLSDC ([email protected]) - used for all other communication to members, whether from an individual member, Committee/SIS Chairs or the Board. Members can opt-out of being on this list. How to Subscribe or UnsubscribeLLSDC's listservs are offered to provide effective communication and resource sharing among members of the Law Librarians' Society of Washington, D.C. The lists are hosted within MemberClicks, our membership database/website platform. There is no requirement that you be a member of LLSDC in order to subscribe to the lists. However, the lists are closed and you will need to be approved by the administrator before being able to send and receive messages. Approval usually happens within 48 hours.
How to PostTo post to the list, send an email to the respective address. You must be a list subscriber in order to post. Alternatively, you may log into the LLSDC website and send a message through the My Features tab within your profile. You may reply to a message directly from your email and the reply will go only to the sender. Listserv ArchivesAll messages sent through the LLSDC listserv are archived. To view these messages, log in to your LLSDC profile and navigate to the "My Features" tab. From here, click on "e-lists" and you can see the full history. All messages sent using L-Soft (11/17/2017-10/31/2018) can be found here. These are .LOG files and you'll need to use Notepad or some other plain text editor to open/read them. All messages sent using the old Lyris listserv platform prior to November 17, 2017 are unfortunately no longer available.
